Restoration Work At Bilsdale Mill
We were awarded the contract by the National Parks Authority to rebuild the retaining wall to the riverside which acted as a sluice channel to the water mill. The stone was rescued from the river and re-walled in lime mortars. Other stone was hand tooled on site to match the existing herringbone face. The stonework was backed up by a reinforced block wall and concrete filled cavity.
